Reminder for GRADS # 2

Dear Grad,

How are you doing? Are you still collision free? Congratulations on your efforts to use DriveTecUSA's 25 collision prevention techniques.

Reminder # 2 is How to Protect your Six.

  1. Use essential # 2, COMMUNICATION, to protect your Six by Passing Back your brake and turn signals. This means to give these signals early enough to make sure the driver behind sees and is able to respond properly. Also an easy tap on the horn can alert the driver behind when he doesn't seem to be paying attention.
  2. Use essential # 3, SPACE, to protect your six by increasing your following distance when tailgated and by leaving escape space ahead when stopped and be ready to take your out.
  3. Use essential # 4, VISIBILITY, to protect your six by checking your rear view mirror every 5 seconds and also before braking and when you see a possible conflict ahead.

Demonstrating these techniques to your parents will be good practice for you.

Thanks for doing your part to make our highways safer for everybody.

Thanks for learning with aLord Ashley Driving School and keep yourself safe.
